October 8, 2009-Steelers Style 09 Fashion Show1422 viewsArt and Greta Rooney and Mike and Kiya Tomlin served as the chairpersons for the event, which benefitted the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the Cancer Caring Center.
Heath Miller and Ike Taylor served as the honorary co-captains, kicking off the “Celebrating Steelers Tradition” with the jersey scene.
“It’s fun. It gives the team an opportunity to get together outside of football and have fun with their families and also interact with the fans,” said Miller. “I can’t claim to be the most fashionable guy on the team. Maybe this fashion show will help me out and give me some ideas for the future.
“But the main reason we are doing this is so we can benefit the charities. Knowing it is for a good cause is a good thing.”
